Advisory Board Members

Dr. Hasan Isomitdinov is an economics instructor and the Chairman of the SmartPay Society Advisory Board. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Alabama and a Master's in Economics from Central Michigan University. His research interests include financial economics, international finance, and the role of technology in shaping modern markets. Dr. Isomitdinov plays a key role in shaping our strategic vision and commitment to financial technology literacy, drawing on his academic background to guide the organization's long-term direction and educational mission.

Robert Hall Jr is the Founder and former President of SmartPay Society. He currently works as a Systems Engineer in the defense industry located in Denver, Colorado. He brings experience in strategy consulting and cybersecurity having intern experience with both PwC and U.S. Army Cyber Command. He now continues to support SmartPay's growth and strategic direction as Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board. In his free time, Robert enjoys playing golf, exploring emerging technologies, and staying active in community service initiatives.

Nick Serpa is an alumnus of The University of Alabama and now works full-time as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group in the San Diego office, where he advises clients on strategy and operations. He previously gained experience as a Risk, Trading & Operations Analyst at Aristotle Capital Management. While in college, Nick played football for the University, developing the discipline and teamwork skills he now brings to his career. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and playing pickleball with friends and family.

Abram Payne is a co-founder of SmartPay Society and formerly served as Director of Marketing. Abram has interned in the Sales Department at Global Oxford Resources, where he developed hands-on experience in client relations and business development. Outside of work Abram is passionate about fitness, golf and is an avid football fan.

Jax Imorde is a former Research Leader for SmartPay Society and now serves as the Innovation and Research Advisor. He currently works as a financial professional at 49 Financial in the Atlanta, Georgia office. He previously interned at Stifel The Kremer Group, where he supported CRM integration and gained valuable exposure to client relationship management systems. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, golfing, and fishing, balancing his professional pursuits with an active and well-rounded lifestyle.

Anthony Manetta is a former President of SmartPay Society and now serves as an Executive Advisor, providing guidance to the current Executive Board. He brings experience in strategy, finance, and investing having intern experience with Goldman Sachs and Holborn. On campus, he is an active member of the Culverhouse College of Business, where he participates in multiple organizations and professional development opportunities.

Bobby Laury Jr is a former Vice-President of SmartPay Society and now serves as an Executive Advisor, providing guidance to the current Executive Board. He brings experience in finance, government and public policy having intern experience at The U.S. House of Representatives and The U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C., On campus, he is an active member of the SGA Executive Cabinet, where he serves as Deputy Chief of Staff.
